Go Forward (goforward.life) is operated by Go Forward. We help people navigate the practical and legal steps that follow the death of a loved one. You can reach us at hello@goforward.life.

Information you provide directly:

• Your first name and the name of the person who passed away
• Your relationship to the deceased
• State of residence
• Situation details (whether a will exists, whether there is real property, whether minor children are involved, etc.)
• Email address (if you create an account)
• ZIP code (for local partner matching)

Information collected automatically:

• Browser type, device type, and operating system
• Pages visited and actions taken within the app (via analytics)
• IP address

We do not collect Social Security numbers, financial account numbers, or any payment information.

We use your information to:

• Generate and save your personalized action plan
• Match you with relevant local professionals (probate attorneys, real estate agents, financial advisors) when you request an introduction
• Improve the product and fix bugs
• Send you account-related emails (plan updates, saved progress notifications)

We do not sell your personal information. Ever.

We share information only in the following circumstances:

• With service partners you choose to contact: If you request an introduction to a local professional through Go Forward, we share your name, email, state, and a brief summary of your situation with that professional. You will always be informed before this happens.
• With service providers: We use third-party tools to operate the product (hosting, email delivery, analytics). These providers process data only as instructed by us and are contractually prohibited from using it for other purposes.
• If required by law: We will disclose information if required to do so by law or valid legal process.

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. You may delete your account and associated data at any time by emailing hello@goforward.life.

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information at any time. If you are a California resident, you have additional rights under CCPA including the right to know what data we collect and the right to opt out of sale (we do not sell data). We use cookies and similar technologies to maintain your session and understand how the product is used. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking pixels.

Go Forward is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
