Terms of Service

By using Go Forward (goforward.life), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the product.

Go Forward provides informational guidance and organizational tools to help individuals navigate administrative, legal, and logistical tasks following the death of a loved one. Go Forward is not a law firm. Nothing on this site or in any generated plan constitutes legal, financial, tax, or professional advice. For advice specific to your situation, consult a qualified professional.

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You agree to provide accurate information when creating an account. We reserve the right to terminate accounts that violate these terms.

You agree to use Go Forward only for its intended purpose: managing tasks following a death. You agree not to:

• Use the service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the product or its infrastructure
• Submit false or misleading information
• Resell or commercially exploit the service without written permission

Every step of the guidance is free, and always will be. The Estate Pass unlocks the tools that prepare documents and keep track of things for you.

• It is a one-time payment, not a subscription. Nothing renews, and there is nothing to cancel. The price is shown before you pay.
• We never see your card. Payment is handled by Stripe. Your card details go to them, not to us.
• The pass belongs to the plan you bought it for. If you are handling more than one estate, each one needs its own.
• If you buy it for someone else, they redeem it with a link we email them. Until they redeem it, you can ask us to cancel it and we will refund you.
• If it did not help, write to us and we will refund you. We would rather give your money back than keep it from someone who is grieving and did not get what they needed. There is no time limit and no form to fill in — email hello@goforward.life.
• If a payment fails or is reversed, the tools lock again. Your plan, your answers and anything you wrote stay exactly where they are — those are free and are never taken away.

If a family turns on donations on a memorial page, the money goes to them through their own Stripe account. Go Forward takes nothing from it — not a fee, not a percentage. We are not party to that payment, and we cannot refund it; that is between the donor and the family. Stripe’s own fees apply.

Where Go Forward points you towards outside help — an attorney, a grief counsellor, a state office — it is a plain link you follow yourself. We are not paid to send you there, we do not share your details with them, and we are not told whether you went. Anyone you contact is independent of Go Forward. We do not vet them, and you should check their credentials yourself.

All content, design, and code on Go Forward is owned by Go Forward unless otherwise indicated. You may not reproduce or redistribute any part of the product without written permission.

Go Forward is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any particular outcome will result from using it.

Go Forward plan output is generated based on the information you provide and general guidance frameworks. We do not guarantee that any plan, step, or recommendation is accurate, complete, current, or applicable to your specific legal, financial, or personal situation.

By using the plan features of Go Forward, you agree to hold Go Forward, its officers, employees, and agents harmless from any claim, loss, or liability arising from actions you take — or do not take — based on plan content.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Go Forward and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed $100.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, without regard to conflict of law principles.

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of Go Forward after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. We will notify registered users of material changes by email.
